Elevate your stay. Our home is more than just any other vacation rental or traditional space; it's a tranquil retreat, a home away from home, minutes from the white sand beaches of the Florida Panhandle at Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
Visit the Beautiful Beaches of 30A
June is one of the busiest and best months to visit the pristine sugary sand beaches all along Florida’s Emerald Coast including Scenic Highway 30A and Santa Rosa Beach. Because it is one of the most popular months to visit, plan out your time wisely, as traffic can be backed up along 30A during the summer months.
In June, the average daily high temperature is 86.7 Degrees Fahrenheit and the average low temperature is 77.4 Degrees Fahrenheit, but watch out for that infamous Florida humidity and cool off in the wonderful Gulf of America where the Average water temperature is 83 Degrees.

Pro-Tip: Get to the public beach access early in the day to reserve a spot since parking is limited, or visit one of the Florida State parks nearby. Because of limited parking everywhere due to the influx of visitors, you can get into these Florida State Parks for free during summer months. This helps offload the Walton County public beaches.
Our Favorite State Parks Nearby Are:
- Topsail Hill Preserve State Park located at 7525 W County Highway 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 on the West End of 30A at Santa Rosa Beach is one of our favorites and there is a shuttle that will take you from the parking lot back to the beach. There is 3.2 miles of open beach access at Topsail State Park. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes during the day to and from the main parking lot to the campground pickup spot and the beach.
- Grayton Beach State Park located at 357 Main Park Road, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 has nearly a mile of beach access. Parking is right near the beach and since parking is limited right near the beach, it is not unheard of for them to shut down park access. You can also rent kayaks and paddleboards for use on Western Lake nearby.

Weather permitting, every day is a great day to visit the beach for any of your favorite beach activities – laying out and relaxing, swimming, snorkeling, or even fishing. Don’t forget your beach towels, water, beach chairs, umbrellas, and sunscreen.
This handy Walton County Beach Safety Guide is a great download. This guide advises you on all beach flags, and has a key graphic on rip currents.

If you see double red flags at the beach, no swimming is permitted.

There are plenty of other things to do in the 30A area even when not at the beach. The list of events and activities in June is endless if you like fine dining, shopping, or music and entertainment, keep reading.
